@ Corey - You mean you don't put socks on your kid? That's terrible! :D Obviously just kidding... it's crazy what the WJ's feel entitled to say to us, isn't it?
@ Stephen - That's a great point, we shouldn't focus just on the bad. I certainly have heard my share of compliments too. That reminds me of all the times when Olivia was a baby, and complete strangers would come over and want to say "hi" to her because they thought she was "so cute" or "so adorable." And they weren't creeps either, they just genuinely like babies.
Apparently babies and young children eliminate some people's social inhibitions. If they're feeling critical thoughts, they blurt them out. If they think your baby is cute, they walk right up to her and start playing with her.
Strange stuff...

We all get the unsolicited commentary, especially with twins. I do find that dads get a lot of unmerited praise for just going about their business. Without female assistance, I take my three kids shopping or to the library routinely but each time it's like a victory lap. Moms do it and nobody bats an eye. I get shout-outs like I'm doing something extraordinary.
